Luceting is thought to date back to the Viking and Medieval periods and was used up to the Industrial Revolution. Lucet cord is square, strong, and slightly springy. It was used for many purposes, such as hanging items on the belt or lacing up articles of clothing. This wooden lucet fork is made of walnut and finished with boiled linseed oil. It measures 7 inches long and 2 1/2 inches wide. Each fork comes with instructions on how to use your lucet.
