Soap has been around for thousands of years, invented around 2800 BC. In the 18th century soap came in two forms: hard soap and soft soap. Hard soap was easier to transport but soft soap was cheaper and easier to make at home. Not all soap was homemade; soap boilers manufactured soap in bulk, both in hard and soft form. These were available to purchase in stores by the pound. Soap makers also worked as candle makers as some of the ingredients and processes were similar. Soap was made with many different ingredients such as lard and olive oil.

Our soap is handmade and hand cut hear in North Carolina. Made with natural ingredients. We offer many different scents: Lavender, Fir Needle, Wildflower, Unscented Castile, and Rose. Each bar is around 4.5 oz.
